About the position

The Oracle Supply Chain Consultant (GOP) role is designed for a highly experienced Senior Consultant with a focus on Oracle Supply Chain, particularly in Global Order Promising (GOP). The primary purpose of this position is to leverage deep knowledge of Oracle GOP functionalities to support order management and fulfillment strategies, ensuring alignment with supply chain goals and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in Oracle Global Order Promising, guiding the team in implementing, configuring, and optimizing GOP functionalities.
• Collaborate with supply chain, inventory, and order management teams to ensure effective order promising aligned with business priorities.
• Analyze demand patterns, lead times, and inventory levels to develop accurate promise dates and enhance customer order fulfillment.
• Design and implement solutions to optimize GOP settings, including ATP (Available to Promise), CTP (Capable to Promise), and lead time calculations.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to resolve issues within Oracle GOP, ensuring alignment with supply chain and business strategies.
• Train and mentor team members on Oracle GOP functionalities and best practices.
• Partner with IT and support teams to troubleshoot GOP-related issues, optimize system performance, and implement enhancements as needed.
• Conduct regular assessments and reporting on GOP performance, identifying areas for continuous improvement in order accuracy, cycle times, and inventory utilization.
• Stay current with Oracle updates and best practices in order promising and supply chain optimization to ensure the organization maximizes Oracle GOP capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with Oracle Supply Chain, specifically in Global Order Promising (GOP).
• Strong expertise in configuring and optimizing GOP settings such as ATP, CTP, and lead time analysis.
• Proven experience in managing order fulfillment and inventory planning within Oracle Supply Chain modules.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop strategies to improve order promising and fulfillment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a related field or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM).
• Experience with additional Oracle Supply Chain modules.
• Familiarity with ERP integrations and the broader order-to-cash cycle.
