About the position

The Technical Oracle Unity CDP Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Oracle Unity Customer Data Platform (CDP). This position requires a deep understanding of data integration, data management, and customer data platforms within a marketing technology stack. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective client communication skills, working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to drive impactful results.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable solutions using Oracle Unity CDP to manage and optimize customer data.
• Develop detailed technical specifications and data models to support business requirements.
• Identify technical design and data model risks, confirm their validity, and devise strategies to mitigate them.
• Participate in technical design and data model workshops alongside Engineering Teams and business stakeholders.
• Translate and communicate technical requirements and solutions to the business using story-based narratives, and present strategies and recommendations to executives.
• Integrate various data sources into Oracle Unity CDP using ETL tools and APIs.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data is accurately ingested, transformed, and loaded into the CDP.
• Implement data pipelines and workflows to automate data integration tasks.
• Lead sessions to understand client needs in technical marketing and Oracle Unity requirements, acting as a crucial technical resource throughout the implementation process.
• Assess client requirements, propose effective solutions, and communicate the capabilities and limitations of Unity CDP and other Oracle ecosystem platforms.
• Identify client process pain points and gaps in current best practices.
• Develop, oversee, and maintain key data model, segmentation, architecture, code documentation, and technical specifications for designated workstreams.
• Monitor data flows and troubleshoot any issues related to data quality or integration.
• Customize Oracle Unity CDP to meet specific business requirements, including creating custom attributes, segments, and data models.
• Configure data connectors and integrations to external systems and applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to Oracle Unity CDP, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle Unity CDP solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development, integration, and customization processes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in customer data management and Oracle Unity CDP.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Oracle Unity CDP or similar customer data platforms.
• Proven experience in data integration, data management, and data analytics.
• Experience working with Customer data platforms (CDPs) across marketing technology stacks.
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

• Oracle Unity CDP certification
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
