The Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) Developer position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in providing Middleware Solutions, particularly within the Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Integration Cloud Services (OICS). The ideal candidate will have between 11 to 14 years of experience managing and delivering medium to high complexity integration projects, particularly those involving Cloud Transformation and multi-country rollouts. This role involves designing integrations between various On-Cloud and On-Prem applications, including Oracle EBS R12, SAP, Oracle ERP Cloud, and Oracle HCM Cloud. In this position, the developer will be responsible for managing a team to deliver Integration Objects according to the agreed design specifications. The candidate will also be expected to create Integration Strategy documents, identify potential issues, and implement risk mitigation strategies. A strong expertise in Oracle's Integration portfolio, architecture methodology, and implementation best practices is essential. The role requires the architecting of integrations using OICS, VBCS, and PCS, along with a solid understanding of various technology adapters such as File, FTP, DB, JMS, MQ, REST, and SOAP, as well as packaged adapters like SAP, Siebel, and Oracle ERP Cloud. Additionally, the candidate should possess expertise in Oracle Cloud technologies, including Oracle API Gateway, Oracle Object Storage, Oracle MFT, Oracle B2B, and EDI, as well as familiarity with modern development tools and practices such as Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Jenkins. Knowledge in project scope estimation and the ability to develop or redesign strategies to address complex technical challenges for clients is also required. A good working knowledge of deployment strategies for OICS components is necessary, and familiarity with TOGAF would be considered an added advantage.
