About the position

The Oracle WAM Developer at Delmock Technologies, Inc. (DTI) is responsible for providing guidance and functional expertise in the installation, configuration, and support of Oracle Work and Asset Management (WAM) in an on-premises environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, system stability, and meeting client-specific requirements through customizations and process improvements, while working collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain internal applications, integrations, and related web services.
  • Lead teams to carry out project goals and support objectives.
  • Oversee code updates and contribute to software design, development, testing, and release.
  • Create and maintain architectural and design documentation, including support documentation.
  • Translate business requirements into functional application specifications in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve user experience through understanding of business processes.
  • Design software solutions adhering to best practices.
  • Develop customized database programs and integrations to enhance COTS products.
  • Perform unit testing and assist with user acceptance testing.
  • Follow change management procedures for migrating solutions into production.
  • Provide production support by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) for resolving production issues.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to deliver secure and budget-friendly solutions.
  • Mitigate security vulnerabilities in collaboration with IT Security and COTS vendors.
  • Support, maintain, and upgrade applications in collaboration with COTS vendors.
  • Configure maintenance and business objects within Oracle WAM.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Oracle WAM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree can substitute for 2 years of experience).
  • Ten years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or eight years with an advanced degree.
  • Proven experience managing complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders or businesses.
  • Expertise in SQL queries and database design.
  • Experience in test-driven development (TDD).
  • Strong knowledge of multi-tiered applications, databases, LDAP, directory services, and network infrastructure.
  • Experience in security protocols, dataflow management, and application architecture.
  • Skilled in creating architecture diagrams and technical designs.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership skills to guide teams in delivering high-quality solutions.

  • Experience with utilities applications.
  • Experience with AI, Machine Learning, IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, ServiceNow, PowerBI, FileNet, Oracle Utilities Suite, and Multi-cloud environments.
  • Advanced Degree.
