About the position

The Personal Assistant, Family Assistant, Household Manager position is designed for a proactive individual who can support a busy family in Orange County. This full-time role involves managing schedules, organizing household tasks, and facilitating communication within the family and with external contacts. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, organized, and comfortable with travel, as the position requires approximately one week of travel per month.

Responsibilities

  • Manage schedules and appointments, adapting to changes as necessary.
  • Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain filing systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications.
  • Draft, proofread, and send emails; proficient in Google Suite and other digital tools.
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
  • Track project progress and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Enjoys working with teenagers and loves animals (three dogs and five horses).
  • Comfortable communicating with diverse individuals, including teenagers and family members.
