About the position
The Order Entry Specialist/Data Entry Operator at Jaco HVAC is responsible for providing backend support for company operations, focusing on order and data entry. This role is essential for ensuring accurate data management and facilitating effective communication between internal teams and customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide backend support for company operations (order/data entry)
- Provide fantastic customer service and address customer complaints/warranty claims in a timely manner
- Accurately manage the flow of data and information both internally and externally to ensure order fulfillment
- Communicate with warehouse to record inbound/outbound shipments and schedule deliveries
- Provide backup support for billing specialist (data entry)
- Assist with various administrative projects as needed
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Great time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Thorough understanding of systems and procedures
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Excellent computer skills, especially in Office Suite
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a strong advantage
