About the position

The Order Management/Sales Operations Specialist will collaborate with support and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of deals sold through the AWS Marketplace channel. This role is crucial for validating deals, updating records, and resolving issues related to sales operations.

Responsibilities

  • Validate proposed deals to ensure they meet requirements and have all required data elements
  • Work with sales and partner teams to ensure that all required information is provided
  • Update and create records in AWS and third-party systems as needed, in an accurate and timely manner
  • Perform all necessary calculations to validate the accuracy of necessary data
  • Apply knowledge, skills and judgment to make decisions and resolve issues
  • Audit processes to identify process and performance defects
  • Partner with IT and functional business owners to resolve systems related issues
  • Complete User Acceptance Testing for IT deployments

Requirements

  • 1-5 years in sales operations, quote-to-cash operations or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets)
  • Sales management experience: 2 years (Required)
  • AWS / Amazon Web Services experience: 2 years (Required)
  • Salesforce experience: 2 years (Required)
  • Order Management experience: 2 years (Required)

  • Experience in Visio
