About the position

MIR Mosaic is seeking an experienced Material Order Packer/Material Handler for their San Jose, CA warehouse. This full-time position involves picking and packing orders, processing incoming freight, and ensuring inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be motivated and organized, ready to take on challenges and contribute to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing Fedex, UPS, USPS orders.
• Processing incoming freight in a timely manner and loading and unloading vehicles.
• Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to assemble customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves.
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Completing all paperwork pertaining to inventory: shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, packing lists, open orders, order check-off, invoices, and shipping labels.
• Ensuring complete accuracy of inventory at all times.
• Labeling all orders and back stock clearly.
• Participation in the cycle counting program.
• Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts and order pickers to move inventory.
• Recording amounts of product received and distributed.
• Cleaning the warehouse.
• Material handling.
• Performing other duties as required.
• Communicating in a professional manner with team members and customers.
• Making samples when needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of warehouse experience is required.
• 2+ years of picking and packing orders is required.
• 1+ years of forklift experience preferred.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, WCS, and ERP programs) preferred.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, averaging, percentages) is a must.
• Ability to effectively plan, communicate the plan, and hold self and team members accountable to the plan.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
