About the position
The Order Picker/Packer position involves assisting with shipping and packaging in a warehouse environment. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to excellent customer service, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assistance with shipping and packaging
- Ensure customer orders are fulfilled in a timely, precise manner and properly recorded
- Prepare and ship customer's orders following quality, packing and shipping standards
- Research customer service issues throughout processing stages while interacting with shipping carriers and corporate partners
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Prepare and send quotes for customers
- Schedule outbound freight and create BOL
- Provide administrative support to management and other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Pallet Jack Certification
- Experience in warehouse operations
- Good attendance and reliable transportation
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Computer skills are essential
