About the position

The Order Picker Packer position at Jillamy Packaging & Warehouse involves daily order processing tasks such as picking, packing, scanning, and inventory management. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure accurate order fulfillment and maintain warehouse organization.

Responsibilities

• Pulls and packs products efficiently based upon daily orders and customer specifications.
• Ensures accuracy of orders and requires minimal understanding of computer systems for clocking in.
• Picks orders based on case pick and unit pick methods.
• Labels units and ensures accurate units, item, lot, and quantity.
• Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of the warehouse, including emptying trash and sweeping.
• Receives product into storage and maintains accurate inventory and reporting.
• Records warehouse location and product information accurately.
• Pulls correct material while ensuring compliance with lot, item, and location sensitivity.
• Understands and properly institutes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Operates safely in all conditions and follows company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year warehouse, contract packaging, or forklift experience required.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and climb stairs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and comply with written information and documents.
• Sharp attention to detail including accurate data and numbers.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Experience with standard Microsoft Office and related technology.
