About the position
We are seeking an Order Picker to join our team at Advance Auto Parts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders by accurately picking and packing items for shipment in a distribution center environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive their orders in a timely and accurate manner. The Order Picker will utilize RF scanners to efficiently locate and pick items from designated locations, perform quality control checks to ensure the accuracy of orders, and operate various material handling equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks. Additionally, the Order Picker will be responsible for loading and unloading materials from delivery trucks and assisting in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling options available. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment that values efficiency and accuracy in order fulfillment. The expected hours for this role can range from 4 to 40 hours per week, depending on the chosen schedule. Responsibilities

Requirements
- Prior experience in order fulfillment and distribution center operations
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory tracking
- Familiarity with picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Ability to operate material handling equipment including cherry pickers and reach trucks
Nice-to-haves
- Valid Pallet Jack Certification
- Experience in warehouse operations
