About the position

As an Account Manager/Order Processing Specialist at Davion Inc., you will play a crucial role in managing customer accounts and ensuring the efficient processing of orders. This position requires you to be the primary point of contact for customers, where you will be responsible for answering inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that orders are processed promptly and accurately. Your ability to build and maintain strong client relationships will be essential, as you will need to understand their needs and address any concerns they may have throughout the order's lifecycle. In this role, you will manage and process customer orders from the moment they are received until fulfillment. This includes ensuring timely routing of customer orders to the appropriate portals and submitting Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN) through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for every applicable customer. You will verify order information, ensure accuracy, and enter orders into the system, collaborating with internal teams such as warehouse, lab, supply chain, and finance to deliver orders on time and accurately, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for addressing and resolving any issues or discrepancies related to orders or client accounts. Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, orders, and other pertinent data will be part of your daily tasks, along with preparing reports on order status, account activity, and other relevant metrics as needed. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in account management or order processing, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Prior experience with ERP, EDI, and order management systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
