About the position

The Order Fulfillment Lead is responsible for coordinating outgoing orders, managing a team, and ensuring that all tasks related to order preparation, packing, and shipment are completed efficiently. This role requires strong leadership skills to motivate team members, maintain quality standards, and ensure adherence to operational procedures. The position involves both independent work and teamwork to resolve issues and meet delivery goals.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and motivate teams and individuals to perform at their optimum level.
  • Set the work schedule for team members to meet expectations and goals.
  • Manage schedules and adjust as needed to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Assess quality of plants and choose plants to meet quality standards for delivery.
  • Follow processes for preparing plants for delivery based on specific types and sizes.
  • Lead daily standup meetings to set plans and tasks for the day.
  • Report plant quality issues to relevant leads and managers.
  • Make up deficits on the team when members are out or need training.
  • Ensure adherence to the Weekly Order Prepping Schedule.
  • Adjust schedules and lists for the next workday as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance on standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to department checklists for opening and closing tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and work environment.
  • Hold consistent team meetings and one-on-one sessions with team members.
  • Build good working relationships and create a motivating work environment.
  • Check weather conditions to prepare the team for work.
  • Ensure team members adhere to conduct policies and work expectations.
  • Complete ongoing training and communicate additional training needs.
  • Ensure outgoing orders are properly tagged and packed according to SOPs.
  • Assist in packing delivery trucks following packing lists and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Able to obtain OLCC marijuana workers permit.
  • Ability to work in a shared and small workspace, standing for long periods.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform extensive physical tasks.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Self-starter with initiative to complete work.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
  • Open to learning new skills and cross-training.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Available to work day and evening shifts, holidays, and weekends.
  • Able to work overtime during busy seasonal periods.
  • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • High School education or GED or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work site.
