Responsibilities
- Assists with or transports patients according to proper techniques of body mechanics.
- Provides postmortem care and transports bodies to the morgue in a dignified manner.
- Collects, labels, and transports specimens to the appropriate areas at the designated times.
- Delivers technical care to emergency patients under the direction of the RN.
- Stocks linens and delivers specimens as required.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent educational competency.
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
- Commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of the organization.
