About the position

The Organic Social Media Manager at Johnson & Johnson will be responsible for developing and executing a cohesive organic social media strategy across various platforms. This role focuses on enhancing engagement and building the corporate narrative through strategic content planning and collaboration with multiple teams. The manager will leverage data insights to optimize social media performance and ensure alignment with the company's brand identity and business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead a 'one-J&J' organic strategy for corporate social channels, integrating reputation-building content themes.
  • Use data from SEO, social platforms, and listening insights to optimize strategy, including publishing volume and cadence.
  • Develop social post copy across various platforms, ensuring alignment with J&J's tone of voice and storytelling architecture.
  • Liaise between various teams to manage the channel planning process from conceptualization through post publishing.
  • Collaborate with content and creative producers, as well as internal and external agency partners, to create social-first storytelling.
  • Ensure plans meet business needs and align with J&J's visual identity and channel best practices.
  • Build upon and elevate organic reporting, including agency management and data analysis to inform optimization recommendations.
  • Act as a gatekeeper of J&J's corporate social channels, ensuring best-in-class standards are upheld.
  • Oversee project management plans to communicate timelines with stakeholders and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Develop best practices and training materials to educate stakeholders on the evolving social media landscape.
  • Execute brand safety control requirements pertaining to Digital Channel Strategy policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven background in social media strategy and organic channel planning.
  • Experience in cross-channel strategic planning and execution.
  • Ability to analyze data and glean insights for optimization recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising between teams and managing projects.
  • Experience in developing content that aligns with brand identity and storytelling.
