ABBTECH Professional Resources, Inc. is seeking an Organizational Change Manager/Business Process Manager to enhance the delivery of IT projects within the utility industry. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a challenging environment and are motivated by variety. The position involves working with large information technology projects across various customer business areas, particularly at an Investor-Owned Utility client based in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Business Process Management (BPM) and Organizational Change Management (OCM), with a focus on requirements elicitation to effectively drive initiatives forward and lay the groundwork for future technology enablement. The successful candidate will possess expertise in BPM methodologies, particularly the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) framework, as well as OCM methodologies such as Prosci. A strong asset and work management background in the electric utility sector is essential, and experience with Oracle Work and Asset Management System (WAMS) or Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS) applications will be highly regarded. This role requires the ability to gather existing process documentation, assess its completeness, and update it based on current practices. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing future state process documentation, conducting gap analyses, and preparing functional requirements documentation for technology projects. The Organizational Change Manager will also assess the change impact of proposed solutions, develop change management strategies, and implement comprehensive training plans. The role involves significant collaboration with business stakeholders, process owners, and business champions to ensure successful adoption of changes and to monitor progress through regular status reports. The candidate will need to demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position is remote but requires some travel (less than 25%).
