About the position

The Organizational Change Manager at Novo Nordisk is responsible for managing the change management function within the US Product Supply Organization in North Carolina. This role involves developing and implementing a collaborative change management strategy that engages employees throughout the process. The manager will leverage expertise in organization effectiveness, project management, and change management to drive success and improve organizational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive OCM strategy, identifying a clear business case and associated metrics to measure effectiveness.
  • Drive the process and partner with CVP and Senior Leadership Teams to identify and prioritize opportunities, diagnose and develop recommendations, and implement OCM solutions.
  • Provide coaching and consulting to leaders and their teams on strategy development, organization assessment, process improvement, employee engagement, and culture integration.
  • Evaluate OCM effectiveness through the development of key metrics to assess actual results and impact.
  • Establish a common Product Supply sitewide OCM framework and supporting tools and training.
  • Develop analytical strategies and metrics to understand business problems and monitor performance.
  • Advise management to ensure OCM projects are well planned, executed, and sustained, including tracking project milestones and providing progress reports.
  • Create and execute comprehensive change management plans to enable implementation and sustainability of recommendations.
  • Drive development and conduct trainings for HRBPs and people managers to support large-scale organizational changes.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership teams to oversee and manage OCM and cLEAN initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Organization Behavior, Organization Development, Organization Effectiveness, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of eight years of corporate, non-profit, business, or community organization experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business and day-to-day manufacturing operations.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and follow-through skills.
  • Progressive experience in continuous improvement, organization development, managing/leading change, LEAN transformation, organization design, team effectiveness, coaching/advising, and communications.
  • Proven ability to work with senior management and strong verbal and written communication skills.
