About the position

The Senior OCM Consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing an Organizational Change Management (OCM) plan that integrates with the master project plan. This role focuses on driving employee adoption of new processes and systems, managing resistance, and ensuring effective communication and training throughout the organization. The consultant will work closely with project management and key stakeholders to align efforts and track the status of OCM initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the OCM plan and integrate it with the master project plan.
  • Track and report project status, risks, and issues.
  • Provide clear reference to service ownership, accountability, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Present a clear, concise, and measurable description of service provision to the department/project.
  • Match perceptions of expected service provision with actual service support and delivery.
  • Analyze and refine schedules and workflows for resource allocation and OCM project planning.
  • Develop a change management strategy and plan to drive employee adoption.
  • Identify and assess situational influences and impacts to the organization(s).
  • Build a change sponsorship roadmap to empower effective leaders of change.
  • Align key stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration across departments.
  • Anticipate and manage employee resistance.
  • Prepare Managers and Supervisors to coach and lead their people through the new Safety Culture.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute communication plans.
  • Identify training needs and ensure complete and timely delivery.
  • Develop change metrics and KPIs to sustain changes.
  • Provide monthly reporting on plans and status of OCM efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Performance, or Communication.
  • Prosci Certification (Required).
  • 7+ years proven business experience including developing/implementing change management activities.
  • 10+ years in Project Change Management and/or Change Team (Required).
  • 10+ years in Developing & leading Organizational Readiness (Required).
  • 10+ years in Conducting/Mitigating Change Impact Assessments (Required).
  • 10+ years in Enterprise Change Management (Required).
  • 10+ years in Leading Change Projects, i.e., People, Process or Technology (Required).
  • Experience in Change Management Strategy.
  • Experience in Stakeholder Identification & Engagement Plan.
  • Experience in Change Impact Assessment & Mitigation.
  • Experience in Developing Organizational Readiness.
  • Experience with Change Management working with Systems, Process and Process Change.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in developing communication materials including e-mails, PowerPoint presentations, voicemails, and printed media.
  • Experience in preparing leadership for communication and training event facilitation.
  • Experience in defining end-user acceptance testing.
