About the position

As an Organizational Change Manager at Centene, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the health of our communities by leading large, cross-functional organizational change management initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with senior management to identify and implement various projects, programs, and plans that align with the business unit and enterprise goals. This position requires a deep understanding of the changes to processes, systems, and technologies that impact our employees, and you will be tasked with creating effective change management strategies and plans to manage the people side of change. You will design and implement actionable organizational change management plans that include communication strategies, training and coaching plans, sponsor roadmaps, and resistance management plans. Your role will involve driving the planning and execution of communication plans across all levels of the organization to ensure support, awareness, and engagement with change initiatives. Monitoring communication flows will be essential to reduce misinformation, analyze feedback, measure effectiveness, and report progress to senior leadership. In addition, you will create and manage metric tracking systems to measure utilization and adoption of change initiatives. Identifying and managing resistance will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you evaluate potential enhancements to technology, training plans, or communication resources and recommend corrective action plans as necessary. Conducting readiness assessments, evaluating results, and presenting findings to stakeholders will also be part of your duties. You will collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities within project plans and support project implementation effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Direct implementation of large, cross-functional organizational change management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and implement varied projects, programs, and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.
  • Gather information from senior leadership to understand changes to processes, systems, and technologies.
  • Analyze the impact to employees and create change management strategies and plans to manage the people side of change.
  • Design and implement actionable organizational change management plans including communication plans, training and coaching plans, sponsor roadmaps, and resistance management plans.
  • Develop and apply a set of targeted, actionable OCM plans, ensuring alignment to the department's objectives.
  • Drive planning and execution of communication plans to all levels of the organization to ensure support, awareness, and engagement with change initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of change management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Change Management operations, policies, procedures, standards, and existing technology and systems environments.
  • Project and program management experience.
  • Change Management Certification (e.g. PROSCI) preferred.
