About the position

The Organizational Development Specialist II at Ahold Delhaize USA plays a crucial role in supporting the development and delivery of strategic organizational development plans aimed at enhancing leadership competence and fostering a positive organizational culture. This position involves collaboration with various teams to implement effective change management practices, manage diversity and inclusion initiatives, and ensure the integration of well-being practices into development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement executive development plans in collaboration with the Organizational Effectiveness team.
  • Provide intervention design and support for addressing ineffective functional dilemmas across ADUSA.
  • Co-create and maintain a library of best practices for team-building and change management tools.
  • Assist the organization through periods of change, co-creating a change management playbook.
  • Own the US DEI&B tracking and reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Facilitate culture activation and enhancements within the organization.
  • Integrate DEI&B and well-being practices into team development and learning curriculum.
  • Create the annual executive summary of aggregate ADUSA AES results and analyze data for actionable insights.
  • Manage external partnerships in the Organizational Development space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in organizational development, change management, strategy, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of organizational development principles, change management methodologies, and DEI&B practices.
  • Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive results.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and facilitation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification in Change Management, Coaching, or Leadership Development.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and confidence to influence change.
  • Working knowledge of adult learning theories.
