About the position

As a member of the Dynamic Learning team, the Learning Programs Specialist supports strategic learning programs under the direction of the Senior Manager of Organizational Learning and Development. This position is crucial in supporting AdventHealth's learning program needs by gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting data, as well as managing information and content related to these programs. The Specialist will also be responsible for developing toolkits and user guides, serving as a liaison for all learning platforms, and responding to inquiries from team members. This role is designed to implement programs and initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals, acting as a subject matter expert for learning programs. The Learning Programs Specialist will support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the learning programs platform. This includes developing, maintaining, and distributing routine reports and relevant metrics to assess the usage and efficacy of learning programs. The Specialist will create metrics that demonstrate the tangible impact of learning initiatives on AdventHealth's overall performance and team member engagement goals. Close collaboration with Corporate Centers of Excellence (COEs), market leadership, and facility business partners is essential to identify and establish relevant metrics for data collection. Additionally, the Specialist will support the Dynamic Learning Community (DLC) leadership team in learning strategies and program needs across the organization, focusing on expanding learning pathways, career and clinical ladders, professional development, and educational assistance. Responsibilities also include maintaining vendor relationships, auditing vendor accountability, ensuring data accuracy, and recommending management actions to improve standard operating procedures, policies, and processes. The role will also involve supporting data integration between AdventHealth and external vendors, building strategic learning solutions that align with operational changes, and assisting in the development of communication plans related to new learning programs and enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the learning programs platform
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute routine reports and relevant metrics for assessment of learning programs usage and efficacy
  • Develop metrics to demonstrate the tangible impact of learning initiatives towards AdventHealth's overall performance and team member engagement goals
  • Engage in close collaboration with Corporate COEs, market leadership, and facility business partners to identify and establish relevant metrics for data collection
  • Support the DLC leadership team in learning strategies and program needs across the organization
  • Develop, maintain, systemize, and distribute educational assistance platform processes, procedures, and system training materials
  • Maintain vendor relationship and periodically audit vendor accountability
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure data accuracy
  • Recommend management action to improve standard operating procedures, policies and processes
  • Support data integration between AdventHealth and external vendors
  • Build strategic learning solutions that align to operational changes and learning program priorities
  • Assist in the development of communication plans related to the implementation of new learning programs, enhancements, and/or process changes

Requirements

  • Master's degree in business, education, learning healthcare, or technology field OR Bachelor's degree AND at least 5 years of professional experience in business, education, learning healthcare, human resources, or technology field
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience integrating HRIS systems with third party systems
  • Experience developing strategic reports for leadership
  • Ability to create dashboards for leadership as requested
  • Clinical nurse education, clinical learning experience highly preferred
