About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and business development within the assigned territory, focusing on building relationships with orthodontists and their teams. This role involves creating business plans, developing territory-specific tactics, and ensuring revenue growth through account retention and expansion. The Territory Sales Manager serves as the primary contact for customers, providing education on Ormco's products and solutions, and is tasked with achieving sales goals while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development and acquisition activities to drive sales within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with orthodontists and their clinical teams.
  • Develop business plans and territory-specific tactics to achieve sales goals.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to influence customer relationships.
  • Conduct regular meetings with orthodontists to promote products and gather feedback.
  • Analyze territory performance and manage aging receivables to meet revenue goals.
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
  • Maintain accurate sales records using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing to provide intelligence on competitive products and enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of related industry experience in customer relationship and account management.
  • Proven selling and territory management skills.
  • Ability to travel 30% overnight.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
