About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and business development within a designated territory, focusing on building relationships with orthodontists and their teams. This role involves creating business plans, executing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction while promoting Ormco's products and solutions. The Territory Sales Manager will balance account retention, expansion, and new customer acquisition to achieve revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development and acquisition activities to drive sales within assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with orthodontists and their clinical teams.
  • Develop business plans and territory-specific tactics to achieve sales goals.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to influence customer relationships.
  • Conduct regular meetings with orthodontists to promote products and gather feedback.
  • Analyze territory performance and manage aging receivables.
  • Organize customer meetings and travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and manage expectations.
  • Maintain accurate sales records using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing to provide intelligence on competitive products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of related industry experience in customer relationship and account management.
  • Ability to travel 30% overnight.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (SF.com or Dynamics).
