About the position

Southern Tennessee Orthopedics in Winchester, Tennessee is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to join their busy and established practice. The practice is part of the Southern Tennessee Regional Health System, which is a Joint Commission-accredited facility with 131 acute beds and 26 skilled care/nursing home beds. The hospital is committed to providing a wide array of services to meet the healthcare needs of the communities in Southern Middle Tennessee. The Orthopedic Surgeon will be responsible for delivering high-quality surgical care to patients, collaborating with a diverse medical and nursing staff, and participating in the ongoing development of the practice. Responsibilities

  • Perform orthopedic surgeries and procedures

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an orthopedic surgery residency program
  • Board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery
  • Valid medical license to practice in Tennessee
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
