We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Orthodontic Dental Assistant/Social Media Manager to join our growing team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for both assisting the orthodontist in clinical procedures and managing the practice's social media presence. As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our orthodontic practice. Your responsibilities will include assisting the orthodontist during examinations, procedures, and treatments, preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment, taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays), and ensuring patients are comfortable throughout their visit. You will also educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care instructions, manage patient records, schedule appointments, perform routine laboratory tasks, and maintain a clean and sterile environment in the dental office. Collaboration with the dental team is essential to ensure efficient and effective patient care. In your capacity as a Social Media Manager, you will create and manage engaging content across various social media platforms. This includes developing strategies to increase followers and engagement, monitoring social media trends, analyzing insights to guide future strategies, and collaborating with marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency. Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools will be crucial to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the orthodontist during examinations, procedures, and treatments.

Requirements

  • Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Prior experience as an orthodontic dental assistant.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and radiographic techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in using dental software and computer systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.

Nice-to-haves
