About the position
Carle Health is seeking a skilled and board-eligible/board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon to join its expanding Orthopaedics team at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, Illinois. This role focuses on providing comprehensive orthopaedic care, particularly in total joint replacement, within a supportive and well-equipped environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform total joint replacement surgeries for knee and hip patients.
- Utilize minimally invasive surgical techniques when applicable.
- Collaborate with a dedicated Orthopaedic Surgery APP and support staff.
- Manage surgical time and clinic hours effectively at a single location.
- Participate in outpatient therapy services and inpatient rehabilitation programs.
Requirements
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Experience or training in total joint replacement (knee and hip) is mandatory.
- Preferred experience in minimally invasive surgical techniques.
