Orthopedic Spine Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the position

As an Orthopedic Spine Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at Intermountain Health, you will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver quality care and enhance patient experiences. This role involves supporting a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon at LDS Hospital, with responsibilities split between clinic and operating room duties.

Responsibilities

• Support a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon at LDS Hospital.
• Work 3 days per week in clinic and 2 days per week in the OR.
• First-assist in surgical cases and conduct inpatient rounding.
• Manage new-patient and follow-up appointments in the clinic.
• Share practice call with the supervising physician, with no trauma call requirement.

Requirements

• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• BLS certification and DEA.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.
