About the position
This position is for a full-time, permanent Orthopedic Hand Surgeon in Rapid City, SD. The role involves joining a practice of five orthopedic surgeons to address community needs. The practice is situated in a well-equipped specialty hospital and multi-specialty clinic, providing a collaborative environment with various orthopedic and surgical specialties.
Responsibilities
- Perform hand and upper extremity surgeries
- Collaborate with a team of orthopedic surgeons
- Provide patient care and follow-up
- Participate in community outreach and education
- Maintain high standards of medical practice
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Specialization in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery
- Strong surgical skills and experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice-to-haves
- Fellowship training in Hand Surgery
- Experience in a multi-specialty practice
