This role is group employed and is ideal for a surgeon who is willing to perform general orthopedic surgery, although subspecialty fellowship training, particularly in Total Joint, is considered a plus. The hospital is a fully accredited not-for-profit general acute care facility with 133 licensed beds and over 800 employees, serving a population of over 205,000. It has received The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for its Joint Replacement Program Certifications for Total Knee, Hip, and Shoulder surgeries. The facility is equipped with advanced technology, including MAKO Robotic Orthopedic Surgery capabilities, which allows for partial knee resurfacing and total hip replacement, as well as total knee replacements. Responsibilities

  • Perform general orthopedic surgeries including joint replacements and other orthopedic procedures.
  • Participate in the growth and development of the orthopedic program.

  • Engage in continuing medical education and professional development activities.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and residents.

Requirements

  • Must be board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Willingness to perform general orthopedic surgery procedures.
  • Subspecialty fellowship training in Total Joint is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
