About the position
The Sports Medicine Orthopaedic Surgeon will join the medical team at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center, focusing on providing high-quality care to a diverse patient community. The role involves performing various orthopedic procedures and managing a daily patient volume, contributing significantly to the well-being of patients in the area.
Responsibilities
- Manage an average daily clinic patient volume of 25-30 patients.
- Participate in a call schedule of 1:5.
- Perform minor procedures such as joint injections, x-ray, and casting.
- Conduct major procedures including ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repairs, and meniscectomies.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree required.
- Must obtain a WV state medical license and DEA registration upon hire.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Completed an ACGME-accredited residency.
- Fellowship trained in Sports Medicine.
