About the position

The OSC Finance Business Operations Manager at RTX Corporation will serve as a key integration point between functional and program teams within the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) sector. This remote position focuses on supporting OSC Finance and various program offices to meet financial objectives, manage forecasts, and drive productivity. The role requires proactive leadership and the ability to handle multiple priorities while collaborating with various levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the key integration point between LADS functional and program teams to meet financial objectives related to Operations and Material forecast, Cash commitments, and Productivity.
  • Support monthly LADS functional forecast reviews and facilitate functional alignment with OSC SBU Leads and Program Operations Managers.
  • Partner with Program Management, FP&A, and OSC Finance teams regarding forecast assumptions, risks, opportunities, and actions to close.
  • Support long-range planning and annual operating plan program level supply and demand alignment for the functional SBU.
  • Develop and manage weekly and monthly Operations staffing reporting and analysis to drive proactive risk mitigation and opportunity capture.
  • Support weekly and monthly Material forecast reviews and facilitate Operations Forecast and Material forecast assumption alignment.
  • Review and align Cash and Productivity assumptions between the Program Office, FP&A, and Functional teams.
  • Coordinate package generation for monthly OSC Program Execution Review and Monthly Business Review finance requirements.
  • Support quarterly SBU focused CER top driving impacts and program office alignment on assumptions of CER basis of estimate.
  • Drive teams to achieve CER commitments by summarizing and status reporting key enablers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant financial experience, or an Advanced Degree and 5+ years of applicable experience in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience with Estimates at Completion (EAC's).
  • Experience with Program costs and schedules.
  • Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, or similar systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA degree.
  • Leadership experience on high visibility projects and programs.
  • Experience with FP&A on programs or within the functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to support multiple competing priorities and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
