About the position
The OSP Permitting Manager at Circet USA is responsible for overseeing the licensing and permitting processing team, managing day-to-day operations related to application acceptance, review, and approval workflows. This role involves auditing files, ensuring proper closeout of contracts, and providing status reports on various closeout projects. The manager will lead a team of 8 to 12 permitting specialists and will play a crucial role in training staff and resolving any issues related to permitting procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and oversee the licensing and permitting processing team.
- Train staff in the use of internal systems for permits.
- Manage day-to-day operations of various divisional licensing & permitting activities.
- Audit all files and provide documents related to proper closeout of contracts.
- Request missing information from the engineering department to ensure proper permitting.
- Provide status updates on any issues or problems and timelines for resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but not required.
- 3-5 years of management experience preferred, but not required.
- Understanding of construction prints.
