About the position

The OSTP Software Developer position at Kitware is designed for recent graduates in Computer Science or Computer Engineering to engage in open-source software development while pursuing a master's degree. Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of creating and maintaining open-source software platforms.
• Learn technical and business knowledge to become leaders at Kitware.
• Acquire project leadership skills and learn how to secure funding for open-source projects.
• Work on various open-source projects while completing a master's degree.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering expected by December 2024.
• Demonstrable programming experience from undergraduate projects or internships.
• Programming experience in C++ and Python.
• Strong communication skills.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
