About the position
As an OT/ICS Digital Grid Cybersecurity Engineer at Siemens Energy, you'll develop transformative compliance-led cybersecurity technology solutions for power grid and utilities organizations across North and South America. This role is crucial in supporting the transition to digital grids powered by renewable energy sources, utilizing advanced technologies such as digital twins, grid automation, and IIoT edge computing. Your expertise will drive innovative solutions that enhance the resiliency and integrity of critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop OT/ICS cybersecurity technology solutions for power generation and utility digital grid customers.
- Conduct cybersecurity governance, gap analysis, maturity assessment, and vulnerability management projects.
- Maintain communication with stakeholders to support collaboration and innovation.
- Manage projects using agile methodologies to respond to cybersecurity compliance requirements.
- Ensure metrics on availability, integrity, and confidentiality are met or exceeded.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience with OT/ICS asset monitoring, vulnerability analysis, and endpoint protection.
- Experience in compliance reporting and audits, including NERC CIP and ISA/IEC 62443.
- Proven track record of leading OT/ICS utility cybersecurity projects.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity practices in OT/ICS environments, with relevant certifications (NERC CIP preferred).
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
- Experience with agile methodologies and Scrum.
- Knowledge of third-party OT/ICS integration with OpenAPI.
- Bilingual - English required, Spanish preferred.
