About the position

The Operational Technology (OT) Project Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring, and delivering global medium to large/complex OT projects and programs from initiation through completion. This role involves securing resources, managing budgets, risks, and changes, and ensuring on-time delivery of projects while collaborating closely with various stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, monitor, and deliver global medium to large/complex OT projects and programs.
  • Secure required resources and manage budgets, risks, and changes.
  • Lead international teams in a matrix environment to ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Drive the collection and prioritization of operational requirements and support business case creation.
  • Translate operational needs into technical specifications in collaboration with Automation and Industrial Control Technologies.
  • Manage technical implementation including configuration, testing, and commissioning.
  • Ensure security, reliability, and quality of delivered solutions and facilitate smooth handover to operations and support.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or preferably a Master's degree in industrial engineering, control systems, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager with a proven track record in delivering OT projects in a complex, global matrix organization.
  • Domain experience in logistics, digital supply chains, manufacturing, and Industry 4.0.

  • Excellent presentation, demonstration, and C-level communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems and process complex data to draw valid conclusions.
  • Strong independent work ethic with efficient timeline management.
  • 'Can-do' mindset with a willingness to continuously develop and grow.
  • Experience with OT project lifecycles including design, build, test, commissioning, and handover.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • PMP, Prince2 or similar project management certification.
