About the position

As an Operational Technology (OT) Project Manager for EMD Electronics, you will be responsible for the planning, monitoring, and delivery of global medium to large/complex OT projects and programs. This role involves securing resources, managing budgets, risks, and changes, and ensuring on-time delivery of projects in collaboration with international teams. You will translate operational needs into technical specifications and manage the technical implementation while ensuring quality and reliability of solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and deliver global medium to large/complex OT projects and programs from initiation through completion.
• Secure required resources and manage budgets, risks, and changes using formal processes and tools.
• Lead international teams in a matrix environment to ensure on-time project delivery according to specifications and within budget.
• Drive the collection and prioritization of operational requirements in collaboration with the business.
• Support the creation of business cases based on operational requirements.
• Translate operational needs into technical specifications in collaboration with Automation and Industrial Control Technologies.
• Manage technical implementation including configuration, testing, and commissioning of solutions.
• Ensure security, reliability, and quality of delivered solutions and facilitate a smooth handover to operations and support.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or preferably a Master's degree in industrial engineering, control systems, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience as a project manager with a proven track record of delivering OT projects in a complex, global matrix organization.
• Domain experience in logistics, digital supply chains, manufacturing, and Industry 4.0.

• Excellent presentation, demonstration, and C-level communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to analyze problems, process complex data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing timelines and expectations while producing high-quality deliverables.
• 'Can-do' mindset and a strong willingness to continuously develop and grow.
• Experience with OT project lifecycles (design, build, test, commissioning, and handover to support).
• Experience with key financial project KPIs, RFPs/RFIs, and business case calculations.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead and direct remote project teams in a global matrix organization.
• PMP, Prince2 or similar project management certification.
