About the position
Airswift is looking for a highly skilled OT Security Officer to lead the implementation and oversight of cybersecurity requirements for Operational Technology (OT) systems. This role is essential for protecting critical industrial technologies, including SCADA, PLCs, and automation networks, particularly in critical infrastructure environments. The officer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, implement mitigations, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT Cybersecurity Risk Assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement OT cybersecurity requirements in alignment with frameworks such as IEC 62443 and ISO 27000.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to guide the application of security controls and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Track remediation efforts, gather evidence of compliance, and support system transfers during the operational transition process.
- Provide technical guidance on OT security measures, including network configuration and application security.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Operational Technologies (SCADA, PLC, automation systems).
- Strong knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks and concepts (e.g., IEC 62443, ISO 27000).
- Familiarity with critical infrastructure regulations, such as NERC-CIP.
- Proven ability to implement complex solutions in operationally challenging environments.
- Experience working in collaborative and diverse teams.

- Understanding of network and systems security, including system configuration and application security.
- Exposure to the energy industry and other critical infrastructure sectors.
- Hands-on experience in operational environments as an end user of security solutions.
