The Product Owner for Customer at Sherwin-Williams plays a pivotal role in the development and execution of product strategies that align with the objectives of the Global Transformation Office. This position is responsible for creating and managing user stories that communicate the product's development and progress against business outcomes to Business Executives and Leadership. The Product Owner will prioritize these stories to ensure that the team focuses on delivering maximum value in alignment with the strategic goals of the organization. In this role, the Product Owner will oversee the strategic and technical execution of business user stories, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective Business Process Governance. Collaboration with the Portfolio Product Leadership Team is essential to set the agility strategy and funding requirements for product initiatives. The Product Owner will also conduct formal performance reviews, celebrating both individual and team successes, while comprehending key business objectives to make informed decisions regarding product functionality. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements for successful implementation. This includes working with program management, process management, data management, change management, and customers. The Product Owner will also be responsible for grooming the product backlog, tracking progress towards product releases, and communicating the product vision and roadmap to the Scrum and development teams. Additionally, the role involves providing support to users of the ERP system, delivering comprehensive product training, and coordinating with other Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment across initiatives. The Product Owner will also work collaboratively with the Continuous Improvement team to enhance processes and animate the local expert community to ensure process enrichment and IT solution enhancements. This role is critical in standardizing logistic flows within manufacturing workshops and preparing budgets for new initiatives.
