The OTR Class A CDL Driver position at First Class Carriers, Inc. offers a competitive starting pay ranging from $.58 to $.75 per mile, depending on experience. This role involves long-haul driving, where drivers will be on the road for 2-3 weeks at a time, handling 100% no-touch freight. Responsibilities
- Drive assigned routes safely and efficiently over long distances.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and report any issues promptly.
- Complete necessary paperwork and logs as required by the company and DOT regulations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 23 years of age.
- Valid Class A CDL license.
- No more than 2 moving violations on MVR in the last 3 years.
- No more than 2 speeding violations in the last 3 years, with no speeding violations over 15 mph.
- No rear-end accidents in the last 3 years.
- No careless driving tickets in the last 3 years.
- No reckless driving charges in the last 7 years.
- No DUI's in the last 7 years, with no more than 1 DUI lifetime.
- No misdemeanors in the last 3 years.
- No felonies in the last 7 years.
