About the position
Daily Express is seeking experienced OTR Company Drivers to transport open deck freight, including heavy equipment and large machinery, across long distances. Responsibilities
- Secure and transport open deck freight such as wind turbines and mining equipment.
- Drive an average of 2,125 miles weekly as an OTR Company Driver.
- Participate in paid orientation and training programs.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
- Manage tarping and securing loads effectively during transport.
Requirements
- Must be at least 23 years of age.
- Possess a valid Class A CDL.
- At least 1 year of OTR experience and 6 months of open deck experience.
- No more than 3 recordable/preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- No alcohol convictions in the last 10 years.
- No drug convictions/issues in the last 5 years.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with heavy haul and specialized transportation.
- Familiarity with tarping and securing large loads.
