About the position

The OTR Driver Trainer is responsible for instructing and mentoring students in the use of learning materials and equipment, ensuring they meet performance standards. This role involves establishing clear learning objectives, monitoring student progress, and providing feedback to enhance their development. The trainer will also maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with students and colleagues regarding progress and needs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
• Use relevant technology to support instruction.
• Observe and evaluate student's performance and development.
• Provide appropriate feedback on performance.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students and colleagues regarding student progress and student needs.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 1 year verifiable OTR Driving Experience.

• Trainer Pay: $350 per day when training a trainee.
• Cell phone reimbursement: $55/day.
