About the position

The Outbound Account Executive at Hover is responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with contractors in the home improvement industry. This role focuses on building relationships, managing a large pipeline of outbound leads, and collaborating with various teams to enhance customer experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating creativity and persistence while achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop rapport and build trust with contractors to secure more deals
  • Navigate customer objections by selling the value of using Hover in their workflow
  • Meet and exceed both monthly and quarterly goals by managing a large pipeline of largely outbound leads through all stages of the sales cycle
  • Maintain exceptional documentation from daily sales demos
  • Proactively develop outreach techniques and build targeted templates for different customer personas
  • Exhibit a growth mindset amongst direct team and cross-functional partners

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a quota-carrying role, preferably within a high-growth environment with a track record of over-achieving targets
  • True outbound experience; hunting for your own leads to build a strong book of business
  • Experience in high-velocity sales environments
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including business owners
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience utilizing tools such as Salesforce or other sales engagement tools to track and maintain business leads and future deals
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills working with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to build strong relationships from cold outreach to closed deals
