About the position

As an Outbound Associate at Empower Retirement, you will play a crucial role in pioneering the company's investment advisory offering. This position involves engaging with users of Empower's innovative financial dashboard to generate interest in wealth management services. You will be responsible for both outbound and inbound phone sales, aiming to connect with high net worth and mass affluent prospective clients to schedule virtual meetings with Financial Advisors. Your interactions will not only include phone calls but also chats and emails, ensuring that all communications are properly recorded within the customer relationship management software. Additionally, you will assist in troubleshooting any issues users may encounter with the Financial Dashboard, relaying these concerns to the technical support team. This role is integral to enhancing the client experience and driving the success of Empower's financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound and inbound phone sales to prospective clients.
  • Generate interest with high net worth and mass affluent prospective clients to schedule virtual meetings with Financial Advisors.
  • Interact with Financial Advisors regarding prospective clients.
  • Help troubleshoot issues that users may have with the Financial Dashboard and relay to the technical support team.
  • Interact with prospective clients via phone, chat, and email, and properly record interactions within customer relationship management software.

Requirements

  • Proven abilities to maintain appropriate policies & procedures for regulatory-driven requirements.
  • Knowledge of investment products and services.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented, and collaborative.
  • Possess a clean U4 record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Excellent operational, organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage and process complex operational work.
  • Proven investment advisory sales skills including proactive outbound calling efforts.
  • Series 7, 63, 65 and 66 licensure a plus.
