As the Outbound Business Development Representative (oBDR) at Klaviyo, you will play a crucial role in the sales cycle, serving as the first point of contact for potential clients. Responsibilities

  • Identify high potential companies who can benefit from Klaviyo's solution
  • Partner closely with experienced SMB and Mid-Market Account Executives to develop and execute effective prospecting strategies
  • Develop, test and iterate messaging across multiple channels, industries and personas
  • Contribute learnings and best practices to the Outbound process and team members

Requirements

  • 1+ years of work experience, preferably in an inbound or outbound BDR role at another marketing technology company
  • BA/BS or equivalent
  • Strong desire for continual improvement and rigorous pursuit of it
  • Excited, motivated, and inspired by exceeding goals
  • Thoughtful, engaging, energetic, and self-aware
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Focus on details, self-starter, and relentless but professional
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
