About the position

The Outbound Call Center Representative at Signify Health plays a crucial role in the Member Engagement team by contacting members of Medicare Advantage and Medicaid health plans. The representative's primary responsibility is to offer, explain, and schedule free in-home or virtual healthcare evaluations, contributing to the company's mission of improving lives and making a lasting difference. This position requires meeting productivity, quality, and customer service goals while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Make an average of 50 outbound calls per hour using an automatic dialer system to schedule healthcare evaluations.
  • Follow 20+ approved scripts to ensure members understand the terms and respond to rebuttals professionally.
  • Present a positive and high-energy approach to clients and team members.
  • Meet daily goals set by the department, including outbound dials and appointments set.
  • Adjust, reschedule, and cancel appointments as requested by members and providers.
  • Monitor performance results using designated reporting systems.
  • Report member complaints and escalations to Member Engagement Managers immediately.
  • Participate in peer coaching as needed.
  • Follow HIPAA and security guidelines when handling protected health information.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ year call center experience or 2+ years general work experience required.
  • Previous outbound call center or high volume experience preferred.
  • Desire to work in a results-oriented outbound call center environment.
  • Persuasive communication skills with the ability to rebuttal professionally.
  • Good communication skills, friendly and conversational demeanor.
  • Ability to adhere to a fixed daily schedule.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to use multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in the English language.

  • Experience with auto dialers and scripts in a metrics-driven environment.
