About the position

As an Outbound Sales Development Representative at Harte Hanks, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and creating a positive first impression for potential clients. This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish, along with a minimum of one year of contact center sales experience. You will be responsible for engaging with a diverse range of new business contacts, providing them with detailed specifications about ADP products, and performing outbound sales support in a fully remote environment. Your primary goal will be to educate prospects about the products and services offered, ensuring they understand the value and benefits of what you are selling. In this role, you will be expected to cold call and prospect for leads, maintaining communication with warm prospects to understand their purchasing decisions. You will partner with experienced Account Executives to help fill their sales pipeline, becoming a product expert in the process. Continuous learning will be a key aspect of your job, as you will work closely with Training Specialists and Product Development teams to enhance your product knowledge and sales strategies. You will also need to effectively communicate business decision drivers, costs, and benefits to showcase the product as a strategic advantage. Responsibilities

  • Engage with new business contacts to provide specifications on ADP products.
  • Cold call and prospect for leads to companies that could benefit from new solutions.
  • Maintain email and phone conversations with warm prospects to determine their purchasing decisions.
  • Partner with experienced Account Executives to help fill their sales pipeline.
  • Become a product expert and learn strategies to communicate product value.
  • Increase product knowledge by collaborating with Training Specialists and Product Development teams.
  • Clearly communicate business decision drivers, costs, and benefits to showcase the product as a strategic advantage.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Minimum of 1 year of contact center sales experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, CRMs, and other online resources for information.
  • Strong over-the-phone communication and online presentation skills.
  • Superior customer service, cold calling, and data entry skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • One to three years of B2B experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or customer-centric roles.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience using social media/social selling for prospecting and lead generation.
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM and SalesLoft.
