About the position

The Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Onramp is a full-time position based in Austin, TX, focused on generating new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts. This position is critical to the company's growth strategy and offers a chance to work in a collaborative environment at a rapidly growing Series A startup. The SDR will leverage various tools and resources to qualify leads and effectively communicate the company's value proposition to potential clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting efforts via phone and email to generate new opportunities.
  • Qualify leads through strategic questioning and active listening to determine fit and interest in funding for their eCommerce business.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities using Salesforce to track progress.
  • Effectively communicate the OnRamp value proposition to prospects and handle objections professionally.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and Account Executives.
  • Collaborate closely with the outbound sales manager and marketing team to refine strategy, messaging, and tactics.
