About the position

Responsibilities

  • Contact warm leads who have expressed interest in the Viking product.
  • Identify guest needs and make recommendations for Viking cruises.
  • Review the benefits of a Viking cruise and close the sale.
  • Serve as a product expert for river, ocean, and expedition cruises.
  • Attend and participate in learning sessions and meetings to stay up to date.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of high-volume outbound telephone sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding monetary sales KPI metrics.
  • Strong experience in making sales over the phone.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-end clients.
  • Flexibility in schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Discipline to work in a structured environment with schedule adherence standards.
  • Previous sales experience with ability to close on the first call.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and equipment (MS Word, Teams, Outlook).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the travel industry.
