About the position

Hometown Hero is seeking a highly motivated B2B Outbound Sales Representative to drive sales growth in the Texas market and across the United States. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with B2B customers, negotiating sales, and collaborating with the sales team to achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Hometown Hero products to B2B customers over the phone.
  • Connect with key business executives and decision makers to acquire new business.
  • Build and prioritize a sales prospect list.
  • Maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts.
  • Negotiate strategically with potential and existing customers to close sales.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers as required.
  • Make 100 calls a day.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience of 4 years as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role.
  • Experience in B2B sales with a CPG brand.
  • Excellent listening and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to think creatively and adapt to changes based on new information.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrable communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in computer use, including CRM and sales analytics.
