The Outlet Team Associate plays a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction at Bloomingdale's. This position is centered around two primary functions: Customer Engagement and Merchandising Efficiency. The Outlet Team Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer feels valued and appreciated. This includes assisting customers on the selling floor, at checkout, and in fitting rooms, while maintaining a friendly and efficient demeanor. The Outlet Team Associate will also engage in various operational tasks that support the store's efficiency, such as pricing, merchandise handling, stock processing, and maintaining an organized stockroom. In addition to customer service, the Outlet Team Associate is tasked with creating a clean and inviting shopping environment. This involves ensuring that merchandise is floor-ready, properly tagged, and ticketed. The role requires the associate to perform selling floor recovery tasks, which include folding, straightening, and sizing merchandise to meet store standards. The Outlet Team Associate must also protect company assets by adhering to all operational procedures, ensuring that the store runs smoothly and efficiently. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with a diverse range of customers and team members. The Outlet Team Associate must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of the retail environment. Physical requirements include prolonged periods of standing and walking, as well as the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
